Beira-Mar coach introduced to press
Soler keen to make most of his chance
Beira-Mar’s new coach, Francisco Soler, has completed his first training session with the club and has spoken his first words since taking charge from Carlos Carvalhal.
“Beira-Mar is my opportunity to continue in the world of football. I played professionally for 15 years and was in the 1992 Olympics (with Spain), and have played many finals.”
“When we end our careers, we understand that this world is very beautiful, full of passion, joy and also, disappointments.”
“We want a team with ambition. We want to win on Sunday, but if we lose, we will correct what went wrong and win the following game. That’s football.”
The Aveiro club are preparing to bring in two reinforcements for the second half of the season. Due to the relationship established with Inverfutbol, the club are primed to welcome River Plate goalkeeper, German Lux, and Serbian defender, Tosic.
