Dady transfer earns Belenenses 5m euro windfall
Striker moves to Osasuna
Dady’s transfer to La Liga side Osasuna will earn Belenenses around five million euros, revealed club president Cabral Ferreira.
The Lisbon club have also negotiated a clause whereby they will receive 10% of any future transfer of the big striker.
Cabral Ferreira exonerated Dady from any wrongdoing in the messy transfer saga that involved the Portuguese Professional Footballers’ Union.
The Belenenses president however criticised the role played by Joaquim Evangelista, head of the Union, saying “my doubt is if it is a players’ union or a bunch of agents.”
Belenenses are now scouring the Brazilian market in search of a replacement striker after the exit of Dady and the release of fellow front man Nicolas Munoz.
