Honours even as Belenenses held by Nacional
Belenenses 1-1 Nacional
Two second-half goals saw Belenenses held to a 1-1 draw at home against Nacional. Roncatto opened the scoring for the hosts, but Lipatin quickly equalised to ensure the Madeira club walked away with a point.
After putting in a clinical display against Benfica the Blues have since lost to Vitoria Guimaraes and now have dropped more points at the Restelo. Nothing changes in the tables as Belenenses remain in eighth spot with 19 points and Nacional right behind in ninth with 17 points.
All the excitement was saved for the second half as Belenenses got on the scoreboard first when Roncatto scored his second goal of the season as he put away a Weldon pass in the 51st minute. The home side almost doubled their lead eight minutes later when Ruben Amorim sent his shot crashing off Nacional’s crossbar.
That miss would prove costly as Nacional were back on level terms in the 64th minute when Lipatin picked up a juicy rebound and slotted the ball past Marcos to make it 1-1.

The Uruguayan is enjoying a fine campaign since his move from Maritimo at the beginning of the season. The goal was his 8th in all competitions for the club.
The intensity of the match waned after the scoring as it appeared that each team was happy to walk away with the share of the spoils.
