The free-scoring Brazilian winger enjoyed a magnificent first half of last season while on loan at Setubal. Matheus never quite hit the same heights upon returning to Braga, but new coach Jorge Jesus will be keen to get the best out of the exciting talent.

Should he do so the lightning fast and skilful wide man should be the ideal supply line for Braga’s formidable looking forward line.
