The 24-year-old attacking midfielder burst onto the Portuguese football scene three years ago with displays bristling with dynamism, commitment and no little skill.

After helping Pacos to a memorable 6th place finish in 2006/07 and scoring possibly goal of the season – a memorable 25-yard volley against Sporting – the Brazilian continued to impress despite the poor campaign of his club last year, to become the team’s chief creative source.
