Boavista snap up duo

Kaziumierczak and Livramento boost squad

Boavista have recently had their ban from signing new players lifted after reaching an agreement with former player Martelinho regarding back payment of unpaid wages.

The club did not waste time by adding Kaziumierczak (Kaziu) and Livramento to their squad from Plock and Santa Clara, respectively.

Kaziu comes as a replacement for Leo Tambussi, who is out for the rest of the season with an injury. The Polish international has signed for six months and if he impresses, he will be handed a two-year contract with the club.

The 26-year-old is looking to use the opportunity to catapult himself into the national team, “I know this club was the first champion in Portugal in the 21st century. I hope that this opportunity helps me get into the national team.”

Livramento has signed on a three and a half season contract and is something of a coup for Boavista after the player was known to be generating a lot of interest from AEK Athens. The 24-year-old opted to stay in Portugal.

Meanwhile, it appears that Cisse and Zairi are on their way out of the club, although no deals have yet been struck.
