“Boavista want to sell me,” claims Linz
Austrian striker looking to remain in Portugal
Austrian striker, Roland Linz, has revealed that he is likely to be on his way out of Boavista.
The marksman gave an interview to a newspaper back home and confessed that the club are shopping him around in order to settle debts.
“Boavista want to sell me,” admitted Linz. “The club are looking for a buyer as they are in a financial crisis.”
The team’s leading goalscorer still has two years remaining on his contract, but Linz pointed out that he has a contractual clause that will allow him to leave for three million euros.
Linz also went on to say that there have been no offers thus far, but he is looking to stay in Portugal as he enjoys living and playing in the country.
Linz scored 10 goals in his debut season in Portugal.
