Braga delighted to present new stars

Polish striker and speedy left-back join Arsenalistas

Sporting Braga today held a press conference to present their latest signings, Chmiest (right) and Jorge Luiz (left).

The club struck deals for both players on the last day of the January transfer period and are ecstatic to include both onto their roster.

Polish striker Chmiest has a pedigree for scoring goals as he was the leading goalscorer in Poland with Odra Wodzislaw.

The marksman said his main objective was “to score goals and try to help Braga reach a Champions League spot.”

Braga also welcomed back left-back, Jorge Luiz, as the player joins the team on loan from the club he left Braga for, Dynamo Moscow.

The player is more than happy to be back in Portugal, more specifically with a team he is more than familiar with.

“I made it quite clear when I left that if I were to return it would only be to Braga. As a result, I am happy this has happened,” said Luiz.

“Braga are the 4th biggest club in Portugal and I arrive determined to help them achieve their objectives.”
