Estrela target Benfica’s Dabao

Chinese striker lined up to boost attack

Estrela da Amadora are trying to secure the service of Benfica starlet, Yu Dabao, for the upcoming season.

Estrela are keen on landing the Chinese striker on loan to reinforce their attack before the close of the summer transfer period.

The club is hoping the good relations between the two Lisbon clubs will help push the deal through.

However, the arrival of Jose Antonio Camacho as Benfica’s new coach may scupper the transfer given that the Spaniard will require time to evaluate his squad before making any decisions.

The transfer deadline date is midnight on 31 August.
