Leiria bring Tonito back to Portugal

Former Sporting midfielder signs one-year contract

Uniao de Leiria have announced the signings of duo Ozeia and Tonito.

The former is a central defender who arrives from Brazil and is seen as a replacement for Marcos Antonio, who was sold in controversial circumstances to French side, AJ Auxerre.

Tonito is a veteran of the Portuguese league. Fans will remember the Spanish midfielder from his days at Boavista, Sporting, Vitoria Setubal and Santa Clara in years past. The 30-year-old has joined Leiria for the upcoming season.

The Spaniard will wear the number 10 shirt and take the place of Harison who was loaned out to Goias in Brazil.
