Naval snap up Brazilian quartet

Coastal club busy in the transfer market

Naval have been busy over the last few days as the club have landed four more players for the upcoming season.

The club have signed defensive midfielder Bruno Lazaroni from Brazilian club, America. The player has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third. The name might sound familiar because he is the son of Maritimo’s new coach.

Naval have also handed a contract to Felipe. The Brazilian winger, who can also operate in the middle of the pitch, comes to the club from Figueira de Foz with a fine reputation. Hot on the heels of Felipe comes striker Eanes. The marksman recently rescinded with Coritiba and has signed for three years.

To complete a quartet of Brazilian captures, the club have signed striker Wandeir from Vardar of Macedonia. The 27-year-old signed for two years and is the club’s seventh signing this summer already. The marksman is expected to do big things for Naval as he hit the net 15 times in all competitions for Vardar last season.

The four players will join Dani (Algericas), Igor (Riberao) and Hugo Santos (Operario) and as the new faces that will report for pre-season training next week.

In other club news, Naval have negotiated the sale of Orestes to German club Hansa Rostock. The club will be handsomely rewarded as Rostock will fork out 300,000 euros for the player’s contract.
