Pacos snap up Dede
Pacos de Ferreira have started their preparations for next season by signing Dede.
The ex-Trofense player is the club’s first signing as they look to build on their impressive 6th place finish, and qualification for the Uefa Cup.
The player could not be happier and is looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead for him with his new club. “It’s a dream to play in the Liga with Pacos de Ferreira.”
“I am not all that familiar with the club, but I know they have a great coach and will play in the Uefa Cup. This makes me satisfied.”
“I have to thank Trofense for the opportunity they gave me. If I did not play here, I would have not had this opportunity to transfer to the Liga. Now I must work hard to play right from the beginning at Pacos.”
In other Pacos news, midfielder Elias looks set to leave the club as the player has not reached an agreement with his paymasters over a new contract.
The player has set a deadline when the whole situation must be resolved by. “There is a lot of talk of me leaving, but nothing has been defined yet. Everything will be resolved by Thursday.”
