Pacos de Ferreira tie down pair on extended contracts

Mangualde and Coelho sign new deals

Pacos de Ferreira central defender, Mangualde, has extended his association with the club for another two years and will remain at the Mata Real until 2009.

The player’s contract was to expire at the end of this season, but he opted to put pen to paper before it ran out.

The Portuguese player had other offers on the table, but decided to stay with Pacos who will participate in next season’s Uefa Cup.

The former Sporting youth product was not the only player to renew with the club. Goalkeeper Coelho also extended his stay for an additional three years.
