Slow start for PSG

Pedro Pauleta’s Paris Saint-Germain began the new French Ligue 1 season with an uninspiring 0-0 draw with Sochaux at the Parc Des Princes. The Portuguese striker started the match and was one of the livelier players in the first half, before he was substituted in the 68th minute.

Marco Ramos was ruled out of the Lens squad for their trip to Bordeaux, which ended in a 1-0 defeat, courtesy of a first half David Bellion goal.
