Italy - Serie A

Tiago continues to struggle

Luis Figo was an unused substitute for champions Inter during their goalless draw away at Palermo on Sunday. The result gave second place Roma the chance to close the gap and, with no Vitorino Antunes in the squad, the side from the capital pulled of an impressive 1-0 win over European champions Milan at the San Siro.

Another bad weekend for Tiago saw him reduced to playing just the final five minutes as Juventus crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Napoli on Saturday evening. Fernando Couto’s Parma moved up to fifteenth in Serie A with a 3-2 home victory over Livorno, who were without injured midfielder Jose Vidigal.
