Falkirk’s Pedro Moutinho keen on Premiership switch
In-form Falkirk striker attracting interest from Fulham
Portuguese striker Pedro Moutinho is being linked with a move from Scottish Premier League side Falkirk to English top flight outfit Fulham.
The 28-year-old former Penafiel forward has been in fine form for the Baims this season, netting seven goals in twenty matches and attaining the praise of manager John Hughes.
However, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Moutinho recently expressed an interest in taking up a new challenge after three and a half years in Scotland.
“I believe in myself and I know how vital it is to be confident,” Moutinho told the Daily Record. “It’s important I show what I can do and hopefully that will attract the attention of bigger teams.
“Maybe that will happen next week and I will listen to what they have to say. I’m no different to any player in wanting to perform at the highest level possible, although I’m very happy at Falkirk.

“If bigger teams or better offers come along then I have to look at them and I’ll have to make up my mind in terms of where I want go.”
Since making the declarations on his future, Moutinho has been the subject of interest from London side Fulham, with recently appointed manager Roy Hodgson reportedly ready to offer 1.3m euros for the Portuguese.
“Falkirk are going to present me with an offer to renew my contract and I am going to listen to what they have to say,” Moutinho said. “But I am no different from anyone else and if a bigger club comes with a better offer, I’ll study it with care.”
