Setubal bolster strike force

Leandro Branco and Edinho sign two-year contracts

Vitoria Setubal have added more muscle to their attack for the upcoming season by presenting forwards Leandro Branco and Edinho. Both players have signed two-year deals with the club.

Leandro Branco arrives from Brazilian outfit, Juventus de Jaragua de Sul, while Edinho makes the step up from Liga da Honra side Gil Vicente.

Branco comes highly regarded and is expected to make an immediate impact with the Sadinos after scoring 9 goals in 14 games last season.

As for Edinho, the player is happy to play for the club that his father once represented: “It’s a great honour to return to a club where my father played and I also got my start.”

“I am extremely content and am looking to repay all those who have shown great confidence in me,” he said.
