Last-minute Europa League despair for Benfica
Match Report: Benfica 1-2 Chelsea
 Jorge Jesus' Benfica saw their Europa League dreams shattered by a last-minute goal from Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic - the Eagles going down 2-1 to their Premier League opponents.
In an absorbing contest at the Amsterdam ArenA, Fernando Torres gave Rafa Benitez' Chelsea the lead, against the run of play, before Óscar Cardozo equalised from the penalty spot for the Portuguese side. Although Frank Lampard hit the bar for Chelsea, the game seemed set for extra-time - until Ivanovic's late, late strike. |
