 Aveiro born and bred, Artur has - apart from brief loan spells at nearby Gafanha and Avanca - spent his entire career with Beira-Mar, journeying with the club from the top flight, to the regional leagues, and back again. A hardworking right winger, he was particularly influential in their promotion season of 2009/10, netting ten goals, and also found the net six times last season.
