 After impressing at Maritimo, the winger was snapped up by Porto but failed to get a foothold in the team that has dominated Portuguese football over the last two decades. Since moving to Braga in 2008 he has flourished.
Full of trickery and able to play on either flank, he has acquired the happy knack of scoring in big matches, netting spectacular winners against both Porto and Sporting in Braga's spectacular 2009/10 campaign, before enjoying another strong season as Braga made the Europa League final the following year. The Brazilian will captain Os Arsenalistas in 2011/12.
