Star man - Godemeche

The former Montpellier midfielder starts his fourth season at Naval with plenty of responsibility on his 26-year-old shoulders. It is consistent performers such as Godemeche who have enabled the modest club from the sleepy seaside resort town of Figueira da Foz to punch above their weight in Portugal's top flight.

The classy playmaker, team captain, will continue to be the voice of command among a host of fellow Frenchmen at the club, now also under the supervision of a French coach.
