Why are we even surprised that in a match where Porto might've dropped points, they end up winning courtesy of 2 penalties? What could be more typical of this? Add to that an offside goal to cheat Benfica at Da Luz, and it's been business as usual in the Liga this year. But we all saw how well Porto did in European play this year when they didn't have the officials on their side...Congrats, they have almost certainly won the Liga this year, but even their own fans will probably admit they've been the most ordinary and unremarkable Liga champions in many a year, and one that couldn't even qualify from a weak CL group!! Benfica and Sporting at least fought on three fronts, and made an impact in Europe!
