Hmm.. let's take a look at who Porto have beaten to win their euro trophies: An average 80s Bayern team, a Monaco team who are now in the French second division, Celtic and Braga last year. In other words you've never beaten a true giant to win something in Europe (Bayern are a giant of course, but their 1987 team was not particularly vintage). Your two CL wins are the only finals you've been in, and you haven't even been close to any others.
Porto has never been a dominant team in Europe for an extended period the way Benfica were in their heyday, so don't act too smart alright just because you've just bought yet another Liga title LOL.. And this will always be the case because money rules the day in football these days and clubs like SLB and Porto have to sell their best players every summer. As a result no Portuguese clubs will ever likely be entirely dominant in europe again, and therefore Benfica's achievement in the 1960s will never be matched again by a Portuguese club...Just accept it fellas!!
