Porto bring in Gonzalez & Marc Janko as Belluschi & Guarin depart

Lucho Gonzalez arrives back in PortoFC Porto have made significant moves just one day before the January transfer window slams shut. Argentine midfielder Lucho Gonzalez has re-signed for the Dragons from Marseille, two and a half years after leaving Porto for the French outfit.

Austrian striker Marc Janko has also been snapped up, while Fredy Guarin’s protracted move to Italy is finally close to completion. The Colombian is in Milan to sign for Inter, with fellow midfielder Belluschi also on his way to Serie A.

Hulk has a sulk, then says sorry

Forward reacts angrily to being substituted

HulkOn the night when Porto got back to something like their best in the final half hour of the victory over Pacos de Ferreira (during which time Hulk was not on the pitch), much of the talk post-match was about a night to forget for the star man. Hulk was substituted in the 58th minute and when he headed straight for the tunnel without acknowledging coach Vitor Pereira or any of his team-mates he was roundly booed by the home supporters.

Porto to bolster strike force?

WellitonMany expected FC Porto to buy another striker after selling Falcao in the summer, but the Dragons decided to rely on Kleber and Walter. Given the youthfulness of the former and the perceived attitude problems of the latter since arriving in Portugal over a year ago, it now appears the Portuguese champions are looking to strengthen in that department in the January transfer window.
