I made a promise to myself that I would respond to Bryan but this one angers me a bit.
I get no futebol fan from Portugal or for that matter any other country can root for their Int'l team because no club teams are entirely composed of country men. Oops, I'm sorry, maybe you can move to Iraq or Iran and cheer those teams on.
Last time I checked, Braga was loaded with foreigners. So is Porto, Sporting, etc...
Also, when Benfica started Coentrao, did that make it ok for Benfiquistas to mention the Seleccao?
Where's the cut off point.
I know this is a huge waste of time on my part. Trying to reason with someone who has proven to have no futebol knowledge never mind social matters.
