Bruno Amaro makes Academica switch

Midfielder loaned out to Coimbra club

Academica have landed Nacional midfielder Bruno Amaro on a season-long loan. The 26-year-old is looking forward to moving to the Coimbra-based club in the hope of earning more playing time.

Amaro only featured in 15 matches for the Alvinegros last season and is relieved to have made a change as the player expressed his delight to Renascenca.

"I chose Academica because they are a historical and important club that functions ideally for someone who is 26 years old, as is my case," said Amaro.

"I want to help collaborate in bettering the 7th-place finish achieved last season."
