Goncalves confirms Bischoff captureAcademica coach thrilled with latest signing It has come to pass that Portugal U21 starlet Amaury Bischoff will join Academica for the next two seasons and the club's coach, Rogerio Gonvcalves, can hardly believe that the organisation have made it a possibility.
It was rumoured that the former Arsenal player was on his way to the Estadio Finibanco Cidade de Coimbra. Now Goncalves has revealed that the club were successful in their pursuit and could not hold back his excitement over the most recent acquisition. "He is a young player with a lot of potential and quality players are always welcome," said Goncalves. "The occasion arose and we reached an accord to sign him. He will be here for two years." "This signing was not on our horizons, but I do believe that he is a young player with tremendous worth."

This kid is a good talent, but I believe he deserves better than Academica. He should play with a team that plays in Europe. He has moved all over the place and hasn't found first-team play. Well I can only hope the best for him and maybe he can play for a top flight team.
