Amaro feels he owes Academica big

Midfielder hoping to stay

Bruno-Amaro.jpgAcademica's Bruno Amaro's big wish is to remain with the Coimbra-based club as the player appreciates the support that the organisation has given him during his trying episode.

The former Nacional man feels indebted to the club as they helped and nursed him back to health after suffering a ruptured tendon in his right knee back in August, which kept him out of action for 8 months.

Amaro would like to remain as he is grateful for Academica standing behind him and would like to re-pay the faith shown in him by continuing to don the Estudantes jersey.

"The club that owns my rights are Nacional and they will have to decide and if I have to return, then I will return, but never letting go of the possibility of staying becasue I like Academica a lot," said the 27-year-old. "I feel that I owe something to the club, the supporters, the city  - I would like to pay them back."

"I am very happy. I am 100% prepared to help Academica. I believe that I can still be useful. The decisions always depends on the coach, but I think that I am ready to play."
