It seems Nani has subbed on or started in 30 of 36 matches not including friendlies/other. I was on United’s site and their match stat section threw me off with the friendlies and the upcoming matches.
Still out those matches, to say that he starts all the time is misleading. For the Benfica match he was a sub on at the end and same thing for the Liverpool match a couple months back. One thing is for sure, his spot in not 100% guaranteed as some people are stating.
I’m not bashing the guy. I want him to do well but given the talent at United it doesn’t take much to be benched for a long time. Look at Berbatov or Henandez both those guys have had periods of amazing performances last season and this to only find themselves on the bench for some time.
