Rodriguez craves Porto switch

Stopper feels "it would be nice" to represent Porto

rodriguez.jpgAfter spending five years with Sporting Braga, central defender Rodriguez would like a to seek new avenues and feels that joining FC Porto would be the type of challenge he is after.

It is no secret that the two have ben linked in the press over a possible transfer, but now the 26-year-old Peruvian has made his feelings known in hopes of urging Braga to make the move a reality.

"It woud be nice to play at FC Porto, they are a big club in Portugal," confessed Rodriguez. "It would be an honour for me, for the interest I have, but I will have to wait."

"There is still nothing. At least no one has said anything to me about a transfer. I will continue to work hard because we have started pre-season training. We are training double-time and the team is growing nicely."
