Spanish and English clubs join race for Eduardo
Genoa head queue to sign Portugal goalkeeper
Sporting Braga goalkeeper Eduardo looks sure to be making a big-money move abroad in the coming days. The Portugal number one is reported to be in talks with Genoa, but the Italians are facing strong competition for the net-minder’s signature.
Braga state they have received bids of 6.5 million euros from Spanish and English clubs, but no official proposal from Genoa. This despite press reports today saying Eduardo, who is currently on holiday, is in Italy holding talks with the Serie A club.
Eduardo followed up a highly impressive domestic season with a magnificent World Cup, and at 27 years of age is in the ideal situation to choose from what is sure to be a range of enticing options.
Polish goalkeeper Bialkowski is expected to join from English side, Southampton, and at least one more goalkeeper will be purchased before the season starts.

I surely hope he does not go to the Portuguese burial ground in Italy as they prefer Italians and he will not get a fair shake.
I too hope he goes to a better league such as the English, Spanish, or German..
any Portuguese player that thinks about Italy is retarded.. plain and simple.. it is a overly defensive minded league with dirty tactics and a xenophobic fanbase & media that does not cater to the flair oriented Porkchops..
Even for Eduardo it is not a good choice.. I would rather he play for Toronto FC..lol
Forca Eduardo
Benfica signed some guy from madrid who none us had heard before for 8.5. Plus this guy is portuguese!!!!
