Braga add a couple of new facesArsenalistas hoping for Luis Aguiar return Before their match against Athletic Bilbao, Sporting Braga showed their supporters two new signings in full-back Silvio and goalkeeper Artur Moraes.
Silvio arrives from Rio Ave and was garnering a lot of interest from the big clubs in Portugal, but has settled with the minhoto side and signed a four-year deal. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Moraes arrives from AS Roma and will remain with the club until the end of the season. The 'keeper position at Braga has been a ticking timebomb ever since the club decided to sell Eduardo to Genoa. Kieszek was also sold to FC Porto, then Quim fell to a long-term injury, leaving the club with only Diego Silva. Since then, last season's runners-up have signed former Maritimo netminder Marcos and have recalled Mario Felgueiras, after a loan spell with Rio Ave. One player that Braga are hoping to land is Luis Aguiar. The Uruguayan was originally a Braga man, but was then transferred to Dynamo Moscow in 2009. The player was not able to find his feet in Russia and was in turn loaned back to Braga for the second half of last season. The minho side are locked in talks with Dynamo and hope that something good will come out of it in the coming days. by Marco Pereira Add your comment |
