Braga land Diogo Valente and Manchester United's PossebonClub announces double capture
The 24-year-old Valente has spent the last two seasons with Leixoes via FC Porto, but now will spend the upcoming campaign with the Asrenalistas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but is is believed that Valente is a makeweight for the transfer of striker Orlando Sa to Porto. In other team news, Braga have also announced that they successfully made a swoop for Manchester United midfielder Rodrigo Pereira Possebon. The 20-year-old Brazilian, who arrived at Old Trafford in January 2008, was never able to impose himself in Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI, having only made 3 appearances last year. Possebon will get the opportunity to acquire more first team football with the move to the Portuguese club. by Marco Pereira

Coming from a Benfiquista, these are good signings for a team like Braga. I'm glad it's just not Benfica, Porto & Sporting that are only the the map of Portugal. Braga is on the uprise, maybe not for the Liga title, but they are improving.
