Braga snap up DjamalBeira-Mar midfielder signs 4-year contract at the AXA Stadium Sporting Braga have added an important piece to the jigsaw of what will be a rebuilt squad for the 2011/12 season. Libyan born midfielder Djamal has made the move from Beira-Mar, signing a four-year contract.
“I’ve signed for a top club in Portugal, which was a dream of mine since I was a child,” Djamal said on the club’s official website.
“Sporting Braga are today one of the most organised and ambitious clubs in Portugal, which is why I immediately accepted the invitation. I’m proud to be able to wear this shirt and I promise I will give everything I’ve got to respect this badge.”
Djamal, whose full name is Abdoulaye Mahamat Bindi, was again outstanding this season as the Aveiro club kept hold of their place in Portugal’s top division with surprising ease, despite a threadbare squad.
