Braga bring in Rafael Bastos
Brazilian midfielder reinforces midfield options
 Sporting Braga have strengthened their squad with the acquisition of attacking midfielder Rafael Bastos. The 25-year-old Brazilian will sign a contract today pending routine medical tests.
Braga attempted to sign Bastos last year, upon the recommendation of the then coach Jorge Jesus, who had worked with the player at Belenenses.
Bastos decided instead on a move to Nacional da Madeira, where he failed to reproduce the form that had earned him rave reviews at Belenenses.
A brief spell in Japan at Consadole Sapporo followed, but Braga boss Domingos Paciencia has now brought him back to Portugal.
Bastos becomes the second reinforcement for the Arsenalistas after the signing of right-back Miguel Garcia from Olhanense, who was bought following the sale of Joao Pereira to Sporting.
