I watched part of Sporting’s pre-season game vs. Charlton yesterday and Sporting really sucked. Charlton ended up winning 1-0, but should have won the game 3-0 after two offside calls were made against Charlton that were nowhere near being offside. The reffing was horrendous. Sporting looked completely disjointed. Yes, this was just a preseason match and a number of players weren’t fielded, but they really looked poor and it can’t be said that we fielded a weak lineup. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.
These signings look pretty decent but I worry that they will further complicate Sporting’s chemistry which seemed to be improving at the end of last season.
