Video: Maniche handed three-match suspensionClub and player agree to punishment Bundesliga outfit Cologne will be without the services of midfielder Maniche for three matches, after the club accepted a three-match suspension handed out to the Portuguese.
Maniche was sent off during Cologne’s 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday for stamping on Arturo Vidal after the pair had contested a ball. The former Porto man was issued a red card for his part in the incident, which took place just after Leverkusen had scored what proved to be the winning goal late on in the match. However, the punishment was increased on Monday when the German Football Association announced that the former Portugal international will now miss three Bundesliga matches. Both Maniche and Cologne have accepted the ruling, meaning the player will miss his side’s games with Bayern Munich, Mainz and Borussia Monchengladbach. Related: Maniche sorry after red card

Are you kidding me, does anybody else see that he didn't actually stomp on the guy. He was just getting up, not a big deal. Can't see why the so called victim needed to elaborate the incident.
