Ze Catsro wants out of Deportivo

Defender edging towards January move

zecastro-jan09.jpgIt appears that the point of no return has come for Portuguese international Ze Castro as the Deportivo La Coruna player is looking to leave the Galician outfit as soon as possible.

The 27-year-old has been used sparingly this term, amassing a total of 202 minutes in 11 rounds in the Liga BBVA, and there are no signs that the centre-back will see more playing time.

Ze Castro is completely frustrated with his situation at the Spanish club and confessed to Renascenca that a transfer might be the best solution.

"Things are not at their best. It is complicated on a personal level, as well as a professional level at the club," declared the former Academica man. "I am not satisfied because at this point it's not good, but we will see how things go going forward. I think that I have much more to give than what I have done, and it's not always my fault."

"I still have a lot to offer and I hope that things develop in a positive manner, so that I am able to challenge for other things."

One of the most over-rated Portuguese players in the last 10 years. Not sure what all the hype was when he was w/ Academica a few years back and how it got him to Atl. Madrid.
