Ricardo Vaz Te had a fantastic season for West Ham, so he deserved at least a call up early in the season. If he continues to bang in the goals in the premier league, he'll definitely get a chance during the world cup qualifying.
As for Jose Bosingwa, I don't think that he was that great in the champions league final. While he did make some tackles and interceptions, he also had quite a few of his signature brain lapses throughout the match. Most of Bayern's best attacks also came through his wing.
On his day, Bosingwa can be a big threat going forward, but defensively he's just too weak. He had some terrible performances for Chelsea this season, and in my opinion, Joao Pereira, Miguel Lopes, and Silvio are better right backs.
