Official: Cissokho transfer called off

AC Milan pull out of deal; Porto confirm annulment

AC MilanFC PortoA short while ago FC Porto announced that the sale of left-back Aly Cissokho to AC Milan has been called off.

An official communication to the Portuguese stock market read: “the agreement with AC Milan for the definitive sale of the player Aly Cissokho has been rendered null and void”.

The on-off transfer appeared to be sewn up over the weekend, only for news to emerge yesterday that Cissokho had failed his medical, rather bizarrely because of dental tests.

At the end of the day the deal seemed to be back on, only for the Milan’s technical director, Adriano Galliani, to confirm that the deal has been aborted this morning.

AC Milan had agreed to pay 15 million euros for Cissokho, who Porto had bought for just 300,000 euros from Vitoria Setubal in the January transfer window.

Apparently, FC Porto don't have any quality left-backs either, that's why they have 10 of them.

Besides, what's wrong with AC Milan asking for 4 million euros discount? Do you have any idea how much orthodontic work is going to cost to repair Cissokho's amount of damage?

LOL!!!!

We now have 2 quality left backs... how many does your team have?

This is a case of buyer's remorse... How else would you explain AC Milan trying to arrange a 4 million euro discount?

I'm not concerned... there were several other teams interested, not just Milan. He will go for 15 million to somebody... and if not, next season he'll go for 20!
AGREE LOL!

Wow, Porto has already bought Alvaro Pereira and they need money to sell Cissohko and it failed. Now I bet Milan or some other team will bid lower than 15 million euros and Porto won't be as satisfied.
Crazy or Wacky

Cissokho failed the medical test because of a decayed teeth? It doesn't seem like the guy is having that kind of problem from the looks of it, but if we look players like Ronaldinho, Luis Ronaldo, and many other Brazilian players, how did they pass their tests? I could have been a dream come true for the player and even a hugh gain for Porto, but all wasted because of a bad breath....

It was called off because Milan realized that he's just not worth it.

Now Porto have something like 10 left-backs. Great job guys!
Dental Tests?

So the transfer fell through because of bad teeth. Can someone please tell us what really happened? Personally I do not mind the news because Cissokho is always welcome back at Porto. Sell Lisandro instead.
