Cissokho’s Milan deal back on as clubs agree fee - reportDefender could still head to Italy The bizarre story of Aly Cissokho’s on/off switch from FC Porto to Italian giants Milan has taken yet another twist, with the move now appearing likely to go through according to reports. The left-back was announced as a Rossoneri player earlier this month, only for Milan to pull the plug on the deal after the 21-year-old reportedly failed a dental test during his medical. However, French newspaper L’equipe claims that the two clubs have re-negotiated the transfer and settled on a lower price for Cissokho. Rather than the 15m Euros originally agreed, it now appears that the San Siro club will pay just 10m Euros for the player, with Cissokho’s agent telling the French press that he expects the transfer to go through in the near future. “Only a couple of details are missing, but I am very confident. The biggest obstacle was the deal between the two clubs,” said Roger Boli. By Sean Gillen Add your comment |
