Lyon may pull out of Lisandro hunt

Selling price too high for French club

Lisandro LopezThe transfer of Lisandro Lopez to Lyon may not come to fruition as the Ligue 1 outfit feel that FC Porto's asking price of 20m euros is a bit steep for their liking and may be forced to look elsewhere.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admitted to Jornal du Dimanche that the club were pursuing the Argentinean ace, but feel that the Portuguese side's demands are excessive.

"Lisandro does interest us, but he does have one more year left on his contract and if they (FC Porto) are asking for 20m euros, it will not be Lyon who will pay it," baulked Aulas.

Should the Portuguese champions fail to agree terms for their top srtiker, this will be the second high-profile transfer that Porto will see fall through after Aly Cissokho's protracted move to AC Milan.
