Flamengo to push for FC Porto's IbsonBrazilain club drafting up proposal for forward
It has been a match made in heaven for Ibson and the Rio de Janeiro outfit as the player has been an integral part of the team's success since his loan move in 2007. It was believed that the Brazilian side were going to send a delegation to Portugal prior to the deal expiring, but have now waited until the last minute in order to strike a deal. Flamengo vice-president Kleber Leite as hold the Brazil press that the club are in the midst of finalising an offer and intend on sending it to Porto immediately. "We are in the process of formulating a plan amd Flamengo will make a formal proposal to Porto," confessed Leite. "If need be, Plinio Serpa Pinto will fly to Portugal." The seconds are counting down as Ibson's loan move to Flamengo will expire this Sunday. The FC Porto owned-player does not figure into the Portuguese champions' plans and the Carioca club will do what they can to ensure the midfielder stays on a permanet basis.
