Lyon reiterate Lisandro desireFrench club to re-open talks next week
The Ligue 1 outfit have declared that they will approach the Dragoes in the coming days and hope to convince the Portuguese side to part with their star striker. Lyon have been rebuffed with bids of 12m & 18m euros, but are showing great resilience in landing their target and bringing the Argentine to the Stade de Gerland, as the club have come into a large amount of money with the sale of Karim Benzema to Spanish giants Real Madrid. The French club stated on their site that due to "personal obligations" of the Porto executives, negotiations will reconvene "in the middle of next week." Lyon do have a back-up plan should they fail to land the former Racing Avellaneda ace as the French outfit have been linked with Real Madrid's Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Juventus' David Trezeguet. by Marco Pereira Add your comment |
