FC Porto wrapping up deals for Falcao & ValeriArgentinean duo closer to Dragao FC Porto are on the verge of announcing their latest recruits as reports in Argentina and Portugal are rife that the reigning Portuguese champions are putting the final details to deals which would see Radamel Falcao and Diego Valeri move to Portugal.
Portuguese radio station Renascenca has stated that Falcao's agent Marcelo Simonian confessed to an agreement being reached between Porto and River Plate and all that remained was for the Portuguese side to sort out details with the 23-year-old striker. Falcao himself told Maisfutebol that he feels that an accord was reached between the two clubs and that he is very much looking forward to joining Porto and helping them forget about Lisando Lopez. "I am waiting for some kind of indication at any moment," said an anxious Falcao. "I have even tried to contact my agent , but he continues to be speaking with the people from Porto." "I believe that the two clubs have everything resolved. I feel a great will to have everything finalised and move to Portugal. But I think we will all have to wait a little bit more." "I am prepared, without a doubt. Certainly, FC Porto have strikers of great quality, but I feel that I have the capacity to do everything just like Lisandro did." Valeri's arrival immenentPorto are trying their best to be at two places at one, as it also appears that the Dragoes are just about ready to sign, seal and deliver midfieder Diego Valeri to the Estadio do Dragao. Porto have been hot on the heels of the Argentine for some time and are working hard to ensure that they do not fail in their quest to land the Lanus player. Club president, Alejandro Maron, told Maisfutebol that the champagne cannot be uncorked yet, but admits that the two sides are working on thrashing out an agreement. I heard that Falcao is overated, and has been over hyped for quite sometime. I haven't heard much from Valeri, but I thought only one was going to be signed by Belluschi and Valeri, but they ended up with both signings. Good signings.
