Falcao sure of victory against NacionalStriker confident Porto will come away with three points FC Porto have a tricky tie ahead of them as the Dragoes travel to Madeira to face Nacional. But for Colombian Falcao, the match won't impose any sort of obstacle whatsoever.
Porto easily won the first meeting between the two sides during the second round of matches in the Liga. Although sittting in fourth place in the table, Nacional have hit the skids by losing three out of their last five matches in the championship and watched as the reigning champions managed to prize away their star Ruben Micael. The two-time European champions have not had a Porto-like season themselves as the team have allowed co-leaders Braga and Benfica to pull away and create a little bit of distance betwen them. But all this matters very little for hotshot marksman Falcao as the former River Plate man is certain that Porto will do the business at the Estadio da Madeira. "Difficulty is present in every match. Nacional participated in the Europa League and are well positioned in the Portuguese championship," said Falcao. "We are going to step onto the field with great responsibility and will reach our objective - which is a victory. This is the mentality of the FC Porto players." by Marco Pereira Keep up to date with all the latest news on Portuguese football with the new PortuGOAL Twitter! Add your comment |
