Bayern Munich prioritise transfer swoop for FC Porto’s Falcao

Striker considered “one of Europe’s most complete forwards”

FalcaoAs 2009/10 draws to a close, rumours abound surrounding the whereabouts of a host of players come next season. Bayern Munich scout Wolfgang Grobe admits FC Porto striker Falcao has been made “one of our priorities”.
Champions League finalists Bayern Munich sent representation to the Vitoria Setubal versus FC Porto match on Saturday night to watch Falcao in action, the third time the German outfit have scouted the striker. The Columbian added two more goals to a sensational debut season in Europe. He has now scored 31 goals in all competitions for the Dragons.

Wolfgang Grobe, a former striker himself and a member of the scouting network of the Bavarian giants, did not hold back in his praise of Falcao.
“Yes, we have made Falcao one of our priorities,” the German told Portuguese daily A Bola. “We want to put ourselves in a position to fight for the best players, and Falcao is one of them.
“It’s natural that we are interested in him as he is one of the most complete forwards playing in Europe. He has evolved well with his experience at FC Porto and we have him well referenced.”
Radamel Falcao is 23 years old and has a contract with Porto until 2013. The Porto board have already opened discussions to improve his contract but if Europe’s major clubs come sniffing it could prove difficult to secure the forward.

I happen to be a porto fan and I can understand the hype around falcao!but I think he should be studied for one more season before jumping to conclusions.yeah right I don't want to lose a player of his quality.but knowing porto they would cash in on him and trust me its gonna be more than 15 million pounds in total;then they'll sign on some new guy from internacional and the story goes on....and don't you disrespect lisandro lopez because he's world class....just not in a club as ambitious as he is.

Do you run a team? Well then thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule and blessing us with your insight.

I'm sorry, but this guy has scored just as many goals in Portugal than his entire career with River Plate. I find that a little suspicious. He is no Ronaldo where he can just switch leagues with ease. I don't buy his "excellence". Only in Porto stuff like this happens.
Gary at it again

... and buy the versatile Cardozo (just for penalties)

Radamel Falcao, 23 years old, first Europe season: 23 goals until now.

By the way, Lisandro Lopez much better, complete and modern forward than most strikers on portuguese league.
I hope they do not sell Falcao next season... but If this news comes on "a Bola" I will be not worry =)
It'll be a waste of money

Does Bayern remember playing against another ex-Porto striker last night? How effective was he? Save your cash!
