Targino done for the yearForward picks up knee injury Vitoria Guimaraes were dealt a bit of bad news as the club found out that they will be without the services of forward Targino for the remainder of the season.
Th 23-year-old suffered damage to his left knee during Guimaraes' 3-1 defeat to Benfica over the weekend and was forced to leave the game in the first half because of the discomfort he was experiencing at the time. Further tests and x-rays confirmed that the former Randers player did indeed contract a sprain and will be forced to undergo extensive physiotherapy to repair the knee. The 23-year-old has been somewhat of a staple in the Guimaraes line-up as the Portuguese winger has played in all but one of Guimaraes' matches this season, scoring four times. by Marco Pereira Add your comment |
