Mourinho voted world’s best coach

International Sports Press Association distinguishes Portuguese

Jose MourinhoJose Mourinho has been voted the best coach in the world by the International Sports Press Association (AIPS). A poll of 200 sports journalists from 97 countries at the organisation’s congress held in Antalya, Turkey, clearly put the Internazionale boss on top.
 
Responding to the question “Who is the best coach in the world?” 36% of voters plumped for the Portuguese. Alex Ferguson came in second on 20% followed by Guus Hiddink, with 13%.
 
The participants in the congress were also asked for their opinion about the upcoming World Cup. Brazil are favourites to lift the trophy, collecting 28.3% of the vote, ahead of fellow South Americans Argentina (23.9%) and Spain (19.6%).
 
Asked who would be top scorer in the South Africa tournament, Argentina’s Lionel Messi obliterated the opposition, with 43% of the votes.

I called him Uncle because I loved him.
He has a very good character.
He has an experience which many coaches didn't have.
He is a phenomenon man
He is a grate gentle-man
He is Respectful
His philosophy is incredible.
Before, now and latter no one can be like him because he was very patience when he was rotating from different clubs learning and now one likes to do this, that’s why I says this.
Now Jose Mourinho times come and people don’t want admit that but I thank God many had admit accepted his character as real man.

He is the best coach I have ever since in the football history. He who God bless, no one cause and no one can stop Jose Mourinho once he is alive because he has the talent and he prove it every where he goes to.

I think only two best coach in the world Morinho and Guus Hiddink but in different ways and different experience,Alex not the best coach,who voted Alex most of them Manu fans, i think so...Alex the only Manu coach ever since, he had proven only in Manu, 1 club only.But... Morinho n Guus... very talented in coaching,Morinho experience with many clubs n have a sense of winning that his target and Guus with clubs and international teams, have a sense to make team better than before, Guus train the two teams at same time,PSV/Australia,Russia/Chelsea,Turkey?Chelsea?open your eye why certain people didnt realise their capabilities,they have shown the world...look at their talent..

Mourinho is the best manager in the world.He won champions league with porto and turned around chelsea to become one of the forminable sides in europe.He did not stop there he coached intermilan and second year of his coaching intermilan won champions league with inter. He is now coaching madrid which is now in top form.

irrespectively of what kind of the game pro:mourinho is playing i regard him as th special one he is the best coach who can turn the losing side to the most fears side,he is the special one and this year again he will take the uefa with real madrid.even if he can come to south africa to coach one of the struggling side in absa premiership he will make a huge difference.

I actually disagree with you, Sylvester. Yes, Mourinho plays mostly a defensive game, but his teams have always countered well.
Porto was an excellent counter attaking squad. Chelsea was a very good offensive team whose offence was overshawdowed by their great defense.
In the 1st leg of their meeting with Braca, Inter playing a great offensive game. Anyone who tells you otherwise didn't watch teh game. As for the 2nd leg, Inter had to go into a shell as soon as they went down to 10 men.
Yes he's a defensive minded manager, just like all Italian managers, but don't say he's killed the "jogo bonito".

He deserve to win the best coach. But he only play to satisfy himself, he doest play for the spectetors. He was the one who killed Mikel Obi style of play. Just try and take a look at Messi, and I know if Messi play under Mounriho he's going to kill his style of play.

Mourinho deserves the honor.
He not only molded a new squad in his imagine but also continued to win. You can say he hass rescued Serie A. Due to Inter winning it has allowed Serie A to keep it's 4th Champions League spot. If Barca would have defeated Inter, the Bundes Liga would have garnished the extra spot and Serie A would have lost one.

As for World Cup favorites, I would personally put Brazil and Spain as favorites. I'm not sure I would have put one ahead of the other.
I understand the talent that Argentina has, but did everyone forget that Maradona is the manager. If anything, he has proven that he''s not capable to lead this squad to anything. It will eventually catch up to them.

As for Messi being the leading scorer, it seems the obvious choice, but he's never played well for the Int'l side, and I'm not so sure he'll strat to now. I guess if you believe Argentina will go far, he would be the obvious choice.
The two guys I would put up against him, would be Drogba and Cristiano. Both will have to score for their teams advance, unfortunately, one will be gone sooner than later. The others that could dominate their team scorring would be Rooney and Roben.

It's great to see Mourinho getting the recognition he deserves. What he has done this year at Inter with some players other teams didn't necessarily want, is absolutely incredible.
