Video: Makukula on target for KayserisporKayserispor 2-2 Sivasspor Ariza Makukula scored his 19th league goal of the season for Kayserispor in their draw with Sivasspor at the Kadir Has Sehir Stadium on Monday evening.
The Portuguese striker gave his men a 2-1 lead on 57 minutes, with a penalty for either side having seen the teams go into the break level at 1-1. Franco Cangele put the hosts ahead (32) before Toscali equalised from the spot in first-half injury time, and Makukula restored Kayserispor’s advantage, doing well to control Delio Toledo’s cutback and finish with his left foot. Makukula’s goal looked to be the winner, but another penalty, scored by Mehmet Yildiz, six minutes from time saw Sivasspor go home with a share of the points. The result means Kayserispor have won just once in their last seven games, and now find themselves in eighth place. By Sean Gillen |

Yannick is really fast and has had some better performances for Sporting recently, but he isn't in the kind of inspiring form that will earn him a call up right now I don't think. Quieroz made a statement a while back saying that Yannick is an "optional" player right now but will likely be an essential player at Euro 2012.
Of course, Queiroz could just load up on attacking midfielders. Danny is in good form again for Zenit St. Petersburg. Although we do need good strikers, I'm actually not opposed to bringing in as many good midfield options as possible since we'll be playing Brazil and possibly Spain.
If I were making the picks, this would be my 18 man line up for the first game:
Goalkeeper: Eduardo, Beto
Defense: Carvalho, Alves, Duda, Ferreira, M. Veloso, Pepe
Midfielders: Deco, Meireles, Danny, Tiago, P. Mendes
Forwards: Almeida, Liedson, C. Ronaldo, Nani, Simao
Since 23 total players are normally chosen, I would also add in Makukula, Moutinho, Miguel, Rolando, and Yannick.
However in my opinion, Queiroz should call up Danny Alves because he is extremely versitile. I have watched many of his games this season and he has been spectacular. He plays well any where in the midfield and is also a good striker.
Makukula is a good option for the future, but I think he is not experienced enough for this world cup.
